Suppose you exclude auto immune disease folks or some other group from vaccine trials. Further suppose that you then approve a vaccine without testing on that/these group/s. What happens in a worst case scenario where a large proportion of those people die in a week? Am I drawing a ridiculous scenario? Would that be similar to saying: 'Torture is ok because one of these days I might have a terrorist and only 5 minutes to get the disarm codes of the nuke out of them before millions die. Therefore I am all in for torture in general.'?
