As a a tradie, when a customer asks how long it will take it is always 3/4 hour. 1/2 hour, they will stick around and watch. 1 hour, they will check back then. 3/4 requires just a bit more effort, they will leave you alone. Win.

I'm an electronics tech who keeps his first aid training up to date. My medical advice would be that Covid is not the only lurgy to worry about. Mould for instance?

Because I thought that we were routinely making spider silk from goat's milk (therefore the robot scientist was the fiction), I still got it wrong.

Before I hear the answer to Science or Fiction, my understanding is that it is well known that Polynesians (especially the ones living on Easter Island) contacted the natives of North and South America long before Columbus. I don't see how anyone would believe that they would go as far as Easter Island, but no further.

Comment on washing masks. I have 4 cloth masks. I use one today for grocery shopping. Tomorrow I use mask #2. The next day #3, etc. By the time I get to day 5, I'm back to the first mask and it should be virus free since the virus doesn't live that long on surfaces. So I never have to wash them. Unless I sneeze in one! Any problem with this plan?
