I was thinking about the alternative calendar and realized 13 months of Friday the 13ths would never fly in America.

A tower of bells (aka carillon) and a type of the inner workings of it. They play Metallica, Harry Potter theme, and an original song and anyone in the mile range can hear them. It's amazing

The calendar makers would go out of business. And what about the union contracts that would not have a way to explain what happens with those two extra days not on any day of the week. Whew.

2019-08-20 08:02:08 +0000 UTCI originally heard about this calendar in an essay by Isaac Asimov. I thought it was his original creation. Hmm. He pointed out two other problems with it though. In order for it to work, we would need one day a year that wasn't on any day of the week, and every four years there would need to be two of them. These days would be holidays!
