I'm on the fence...more editing perhaps? There's some gold here, but do I need to hear the trials and tribulations of trying to get Cara on skype?

2018-03-24 16:22:25 +0000 UTCIs there raw video as well? I'd love to see you guys goofing around before the show.

2018-03-22 12:14:51 +0000 UTCLove listening to Cara's voice and her laughing! And the Rural Juror throwback, haha

2018-03-22 09:56:18 +0000 UTCI've heard Stephen Fry can be vocal sometimes....

2018-03-22 09:42:18 +0000 UTCI think people react to it because it's common on AM (NPR) radio, and somehow that leads them to a value judgement. It's associated with a sort of Valley Girl sound, but I think that whole line of logic is flawed. It's just a voice. When you find yourself doing things like passing negative judgement on a person based on their voice cracking a bit... well, maybe you've gone overboard.

2018-03-22 06:10:20 +0000 UTCNever heard of "vocal fry" before today. Now I've looked it up and understand and can identify it, but I don't get why people are assigning a value judgement. It's just an element of a voice.

2018-03-22 05:56:39 +0000 UTCYeah, really don't understand the hate on vocal fry. Cara can talk all day long and I will be fine with listening to what she is saying which I can't say for everyone, some voices grate but it is not to do with vocal fry

2018-03-22 05:20:48 +0000 UTCSO interesting to listen to the pre-show banter. I'm a "podfaster" - I listen to the SGU at 2X speed, so hearing everyone at this speed made me wonder if they were all hopped up on cold medication. Heh.

2018-03-22 05:08:03 +0000 UTCI love the behind the scenes stuff, keep it coming please.

2018-03-22 02:47:11 +0000 UTCQuality content! But really, this should become a regular thing.

2018-03-22 02:35:33 +0000 UTCHuh, I'm surprised Ira Glass vs. Flatow was a struggle. Guess we all spend time consuming different kinds of content. Also, what's fascinating to me as a longtime supporter is that I've barely EVER heard any ads, so I don't even realize that y'all have probably been talking about SquareSpace for years.

2018-03-22 02:14:21 +0000 UTCThe vocal fry stuff is especially unfair because the only way Cara could overcome it on a podcast is to talk really loud. Then those same dinguses would say you yell all the time. Can't win. A distinct voice is a memorable voice. Ira Glass is a great example.

2018-03-22 01:36:55 +0000 UTCHaha That's the best part of the show! We love Cara and we love the guys. You so much remind me of my own brother and I when we argue about sci-fi stuff lol

2018-03-22 01:24:09 +0000 UTCI like vocal fry - I think it sounds relaxing - keep it up Cara!
