Struggle
Added 2024-05-17 12:57:12 +0000 UTCDo you know any incentives that would help bring people here ? i'm kinda struggling between keeping art or giving all together and looking for a job. I don't know hardly what to do, or what other artist did for you to support them how they promote stuff in your eyes.

Thanks for the input and support, i wanted to create my art around the characters that i like most of them from genshion other gatcha etc, and also popular anime and trend i felt like that's a good niche but idk what's wrong with my ideas and or art

I have some thoughts, but please know that I am not an expert, so maybe everything I say is wrong 😅 I think it will be important to consider how much you want to (and can afford to) put into this Patreon. I know that some people support artists who have a ‘brand’ and/or specialize in a certain niche, so maybe that is a direction you can consider. Is there any type of art that you would want to make consistently that you could center your art around (even if it’s just one piece per month - because of a job/other work)? An example might be: ‘an artist that designs maps for role playing games like DnD’, or ‘a NSFW artist who makes art of popular new video game characters’. So that is the type of content they would mainly make and post about. I also believe that it is important to plan ahead, and have a well thought out back-up plan. So, for example, if you continue to work on this Patreon you should ask yourself things like: “how long can I keep this up before I have to find a different source of income?”, “what type of work do I want to make, and what kind of audience do I want to attract?”, “do I think that I can keep a good mental health during this time?-even if I make no progress?”, “what other options do I realistically have?”, “if I have to do a job AND work on my art career, is this something I want to do?”, “are there any resources that I have which could help me?”, “is there someone that I know has my best interest, who I can talk to about all these things?”, etc. I hope that these ideas are helpful to you, but even if they aren’t, I want you to know that I am rooting for you!
