I hope you're having a great April so far, and I just wanted to share a little snippet from the 12-hour long shoot I had two days ago in Pasadena with Tonebase, a classical music education program. I had lots of fun performing and teaching three pieces on the Classical Cello, including Schindler's List, Salut d'Amour, and Popper's Tarantella, performing Wonder Woman on the Electric Cello and giving a general overview and walkthrough of the instrument and a basic tech setup, and also did an interview/talk with Daniel Lelchuck (seen in the video) who is the Assistant Principal cellist of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, and also head of the Cello department at Tonebase.
I'm leaving for tour in 10 days (flying out April 17 from LAX to Germany, where we rehearse before Hans Zimmer Live debuts in Europe in Oberhausen on April 23. This year, I will bring along my friend Mariko who also plays Electric Cello- when I left Cirque du Soleil in 2013, she took over for me on the Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour. I will still be playing my features: Wonder Woman, Pirates of the Caribbean, Top Gun, and maybe DUNE- and she will be playing the other pieces which will allow me more focus and energy devoted to the featured songs. I can't wait for you guys to hear and see her perform also if you are able to make it out to a show!
Also, this hasn't been publicly announced, but we are doing a Fall tour of the USA- about 5-6 weeks as dates are still being finalized. I wanted to let my Patreon family hear it first! :)

That's what makes the resulting excellence and amazing performances possible.
