Punching Fridays #1

Welcome to the first ever Punching Fridays! These will be weekly posts I where I will go over current game work status, new and or planned ideas/features, and other random bits that I want to share with you all.

I would like to thank Zoppy for giving me the idea to start doing these.

This week (and last week for that matter), I have been focused on creating the cinematic cut scenes that pertain to the upcoming Haniel story arc. I want to take a moment to detail certain insights and lore that surround these coming events.

-- WARNING: SOME MILD SPOILERS START HERE --

As many of you already know, our girl Haniel had lost her battle with Korvald, and as an unfortunate result had her womb filled with his eldritch seed. Under normal circumstances, a celestial's womb has no means of reproduction, however Korvald's void infused essences  possess the very nature of adaptation and change, making it entirely possible for Haniel to conceive life. So we now have a very scared, and VERY pregnant archangel wandering around the Earthly realm.

"Life finds a way"

Imagine a young woman who discovers that she has become pregnant, and knows that her father will react poorly to this information. Now imagine that father is God himself and will likely banish his daughter for eternity if he finds out that she is bearing the child of the "anomalous human" he had tasked her to eliminate. Tough situation to be in for sure.

So Haniel, having no where else to turn, will be seeking help from the "devourer" herself, Noraitha! After all, the unborn child belongs to Noraitha's champion (Haniel is unaware of Qhroth'un's existence at this point). 

-- WARNING: SOME MAJOR SPOILERS START HERE --

The planned events from this point will be involving every one of Korvald's allies who have a celestial alignment (ie, Sisters of Steel, Sisters of Iron, Iron Mother, Mother Superior). The birth of Haniel and Korvald's child will be one of the first truly beautiful moments in the game and will be a turning point for Korvald's anguish. The loss of his previous life left him without a sense of purpose in this new one, until the arrival of his first born son, Mallum. The moment he chooses a name for his son, Korvald becomes filled with a desire to rebuild the world around him as he sees fit. He also knows just who he wants by his side, and is ready to fight any horrors that the universe puts in his way to get her back....

Along with the new cinematics, I have also been revisiting some of the original artworks for Iron Mother and Kara Aven, giving them some much needed updates (see images above). Particularly Iron Mother, who will be making her way back into the main story arc very soon. You may notice that Iron Mother looks a bit bulkier than before, that is no accident. Her lust for strength by way of Korvald's seed has proven to be both successful and tragic simultaneously. Olivina's body has transformed considerably since the events beneath the Iron Abbey, leaving her with a colossal physique and unprecedented strength. Stronger than even Magda had been during her own difficult dealings with Korvald's cursed energies.

I also was able to get some time to add revisions to Noraitha's eldritch hybrid form (see above).

Finally, I am nearly finished with creating Chel Helbun's loyalty sex scene (see image above for small extracted sample).

Well that about wraps up what I have for this first ever Punching Fridays. I know it may not seem like much but stick around, each week will get more and more in depth with WIP, lore and other nonsense that I am up to.
