Here's September's commission giveaway winner! Been a while since the last girl-on-girl scene, and this is my first ever scissoring animation as well! Creating this was a fun mix of familiar stuff and new ground. With the omission of the regular penetration, I knew that I'd most likely have to rely on shapekeys to get a decent result, and it seems like it did the job for the most part. The hand-holding might be a bit too obscene, however.
On a more technical note, I did bump into a hurdle I had not seen before on a model. There was a discrepancy between how one part of the mesh absorbed light compared to the rest of it. First, I initially assumed this was a normal map issue, and then later on a UV map issue. Turns out that materials can have different ways to absorb light under the 'raytracing' tab of New EEVEE. Something to keep in mind for anyone who ever ends up in familiar territory, I suppose.
Other than that, we have yet another 2girl scene before we move on into doing some Halloween stuff. Laters!
