I wanted to try out making something with monster girls just to shake things up a bit and luckily the Dimitrescu daughter model caught my eye just around the same time ;D. This animation is also meant to be a quickie and did come out a bit more rough around the edges than I would have liked. I decided to move forward and leave it as-is as I was unsure how interesting the concept is overall and, frankly, I got the lessons I could have out of it without lingering on it for too long.

For one, I did give myself the opportunity to animate my first ever walk cycle, albeit short. That's something I'll definitely have to explore in the future, since it feels like a pretty fundamental general animation skill :P. Animating fingering is also something that eludes me, as it seems to be a pretty fine line one has to walk to ensure that it doesn't come out too dynamic but also not too stiff at the same time. I walked into a bit of a handful with this animation than originally intended with this animation which is something I've said I'm actively trying to get better at avoiding ( ✜︵✜ ) but I hope it's to your liking either way.
