This pairing is pretty unique and I'm honestly a bit surprised it got so far in the polls as opposed to something more canon. I was also initially surprised by the lack of Fallout resources available in terms of maps. Luckily, there was an older SFM asset pack available that allowed me to make my own set from scratch. I'm still very much in the process trying to find a balance of not getting too carried away with designing sets, but when it comes situations like this I'm glad I put a good amount of time into it. Crossovers can be pretty cool but I also want to do a better job of making more lore-friendly animations down the line. Right now I'm giving my self some leeway just to have an excuse to try out and practice different ideas.
One thing I feel like I'm getting a better grasp on is lighting a scene that looks good from multiple angles. I wouldn't really say I'm particularly decent at it yet, but I don't want to get too comfortable just making scenes that are just from one angle. I feel like that diminishes both the variety, viewer experience and avenues for me to improve. Sometimes it's called for though so whadd'ya know ยฏ(ใ)/ยฏ.
To end, I'll also try to get these poll-voted animations out less late into the month. One thing that's pretty important to me is having whatever won the poll be out within the following month as that's something people paid for.
