I'm really glad to have another go at some monster stuff again this early after the release of the Ashley x Regenerator animation. I know a lot of people really enjoyed that one, and I'm happy for them, but personally, I wasn't really happy nor satisfied with how that one turned out, so this release felt a bit like my chance at making it up to all monster and Resident Evil fans. I'd say this one came out better, at least, but I'm super satisfied with it either. This is also my debut at making monster stuff proper, instead of just a scary-looking bipedal, which is pretty cool. ଘ(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭

I've become a lot more comfortable with sculpting than when this year started. With that, I'm finally got into custom bump/normal maps, starting with this animation. I had a feeling it would be the icing on the cake—and I'd say they make a substantial difference to complement to whatever you're sculpting. I’ve also gotten much faster at sculpting feet in particular and I feel like I’m improving at keeping their design consistent across all my models (as well as how fast I can get them sculpted in general). I don't know exactly what final look I'm chasing for so I also tend to freestyle a bit in between models. I hope you foot people appreciate it nonetheless (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑. I also tried sculpting a pregnant belly for the first time. Didn't turn out amazing but I'll assess it properly next time it fits an animation thematically. It was very much a last second idea.

Besides animating I'm also trying to up my file sharing game, including putting up mirrors for all my stuff and the like.
