This animation should have come out a day or two earlier but I got screwed over by technical issues once again!! (╯°□°)╯┻━┻

The project turned out to be more of a practice piece. It’s also on the shorter side, which I don’t plan to make a regular thing.

I decided to go with the monster route for this animation for the sake of a challenge and variety (and since Resident Evil is pretty applicable for it). I'll be back to doing regular human-focused stuff for a while again, which will also always the main bulk of my content in general. I do like to try new and different things since I believe that's a great way to learn. I'm also trying to keep a pretty consistent schedule with my releases so if something is not to your liking then the next thing right around the corner might be!

I’m currently working on applying some compositional and lighting principles I’ve picked up from the literature I've been reading. This animation is thus far the most elaborately lit one I’ve worked on yet, which doesn't necessarily mean much seeing as I've got miles ahead of me to improve. I've also been fidgeting around with some render settings so I apologize for any inconsistencies that may pop up between different animations. It makes me a bit weary trying to experiment and learn while simultaneously wanting to deliver stuff that's at least passable. Other than that, I still got to get waaay better at animation overall.

This was also my first ever attempt at lip-syncing actual words, and I’m hoping it didn’t come off as a total disaster. I'm still trying to get a good grasp of sculpting (and therefore also texturing (and therefore also rigging...)) and I think there's a good chunk of you that will appreciate that once it properly comes into fruition.
