New Mouth Internals - Test renders

Hey!

Here's a little something while you wait for the playblast of the Mini loop, which I'll try to get done in a few days, likely some time between Monday-Wednesday. 

I'm sure I'll end up tweaking the mouth more as I go, at least for the new game part. Although I'll try to get rid of any possible issues that might pop up with it as I work on the Mini loop. The big thing here is that it'll be easier to tweak the new mouth compared to the previous one, since it's no longer a part of the main model directly. Which means that if I need to do bigger changes to it in the future, it's less work for me. So more flexibility overall, when working with mouth (and throat/stomach and beyond). It also makes it a bit easier for me to do seamless full tour.

I'll have to tweak the molars a bit, although a lot of it is due to the large FOV that's distorting them here, but overall they look a bit too blunt and "fat" at the moment, most notably in the internal shot. Saliva strands and similar things will be added separately as needed, so there's none in these test renders at the moment.

Wow I love it! It will be uvula play with those new mouth renders?

Playblast for the "mini-loop" delayed by roughly a day. Two at most. I've ended up doing more than I was supposed to again. And I keep forgetting how much more work it is animating two "giants". It's still not going to be as long as the previous mini-animation was, but I'll have to either just force myself to do something more simple the next time, or consider a different kind of scheduling for the mini stuff. Possibly dropping the mini-loops in the future, and keeping only the mini-animations, for example. Or replacing the mini-loops with VR versions/4K renders or what not. Something that doesn't take quite as much time out of making the game. But I'll get into that more once I'm done with this one. None of the above should affect the schedule for the rest of the month!

Wanting a better stomach was one of the main reasons I wanted to do update the oral internals as a whole. So yes, it has more folds now.

At the least I think more belly folds would be great to see, though if modeling that is simply a pain or you like the flatter stomach walls stylistically then that's of course your choice. I'm just one weirdo who really really digs anatomy.

I would love to see how it could look with that detail in as it would make everything look way different, but I'm also happy with how things are now. Itd be worth testing I feel

I'd say around the same as before when it comes to flexibility of movement, which I feel already provides all the movement I can think I might need. The rig didn't change much, this was mainly a model & shader update.

No epiglottis yet. I was considering it, but decided to leave it out for now at least. I might poll for it at some point to see if people think it's an important detail.

Oooooh, now this is a nice progressive improvement. Does this mean that the uvulas are more flexible and mobile than previous renders?

Oooo I really cant wait to see the full thing then. I was more wondering if we were gonna see an epiglottis at any point or if it's the same as before, but sounds like you're still staying away from that perhaps.

Well the darkness is really mainly dependent on how I've lit the scene. It can be challenging balancing it in a way, to keep it dark while still being able to see enough. I use CC0 stuff from freesound.org and some from audioblocks and some of the stock sounds that came with adobe creative cloud for all my sound effects. Except the moans and such are from voice actors of course.

Everything from the mouth to the stomach was redone. I still wouldn't call any of it realistic though.

Quick question, is there also an updated throat and esophagus? If not already done, do you plan on ever making that more realistic as well?

As it was said in another comment, I feel like the mouth’s interior is darker, which is great ! And as I said in a previous comment, and I’m sorry if I don’t use the right terms, but for me : the quality of the textures are going way up ! Good job :) Just... It’s more of a random thought, but I can’t find the answer myself : when you’re making your videos, where do you find the gulp sound in your vore videos ? And on the same subject, where did you find the burp sound in the re-cut video with the blonde woman (forgot her name >.<) ? Thank you for your good work man, it’s great :)
