It was a very interesting day. A poor dog looking for a little help was so grateful that you let her take a bath and gather her bearings, and couldn't believe that you offered to let her stay long term. It only made sense though, because she really needed a break and you were in a position to give it to her.
She fell asleep on the couch last night, while you were watching TV and just scratching her head. So you quietly got up and went to sleep in your room, and had a great night's rest. Only to be woken up to Lucky standing in your room with a wet newspaper on your chest.
