Every week I say to myself “what a time to be alive.” Then I realize, that must simply be the human experience.
Thinking of more hopeful times with Photosensualis … although these were taken in 2016, and things were looking grim! We have to create our own hopeful moments and hope they are contagious!
Anyway, please bear with me. This week is the Independence Day issue for the paper, and my computer stopped turning on last week. I had just organized my files to back things up...

A beautiful color series taken by Photosensualis on a snowy day in the Catskills.
This was my ‘renaissance woman’ era. I was sad, curvy, and drank heavily.
Looking back, though, I can appreciate who I was and where I was going. And although I could not get out of my own way to realize it then, I was still quite pretty.
Humanity is weird.

You will not find Photosensualis in color anywhere else, so this is a real treat.

These were taken by ‘Dreaming in Light’ in 2017 in a NJ studio. With the right light and setup, I can use my imagination. Obviously, I was very invested in my yoga practice. I still practice, but without the same zest and discipline. It’s a good reminder to fall in love with it again.

The last of the Mt. Tamm images, in color, photographed by Dan Van Winkle.
There is no session more fun than when a photographer allows the subject to explore a full range of poses in a given environment. This is optimal creativity.
I apologize for going dark for a few days. I'm balancing a lot at the moment.
I'll be posting for $25+ patrons over the weekend.
For those celebrating Passover or Easter, enjoy!

Film. Taken by Mark Sloane in Reno, NV.
In 2015, I was asked to come interview to possibly pose for workshops at White Box studio, which had just opened on the Jersey Shore. The interview was essentially a 15 minute photo shoot in the space, but nothing ever came of it. I received these photos in 2019, but did not see them until a few weeks ago, because they were sent to me via Instagram, which I seldom check. Anyway, the photographer, Nikita Boyd, gave me permission to post these here, as I don't post nude work anywhere else these...

March 1 was Earthy Eva’s birthday. I got to looking through photos we share and it made me miss her very much. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed as much during a photo session than when in her company. She made TDA special. Anyway, these shots were taken by R. Yokomoto in 2018. XO.

Yes, I borrowed the title of this set from Bob Dylan — one of my favorite writers of all time.
These photos were taken one week after I graduated college (SUNY New Paltz). The thing that drew me there was the watchtower atop Mohonk Mountain, which is central to Dylan’s “All Along the Watchtower.”
These images were taken during my first-ever shoot with Photosensualis. It was a rainy day in Woodstock, and I initially arrived at the wrong building. By the time I arrived to th...
