It's the same story no matter what village you stopped by on your travels. The average person struggles just to get by, between having to pay for food and a place to live. Meanwhile the richest of the rich have more than they could ever need. And in their selfish greed the masses suffer.
So you took it upon yourself to do something about that. Some people take up jobs chasing away bandits or protecting caravans. But you decided to do something a little different: take from the rich to help out the poor. And it usually works out well! Except... this time you weren't quite as stealthy as you thought.
