What to Expect This Summer
Added 2022-06-25 11:26:00 +0000 UTCThe second Eddie the Yeti book (Eddie the Yeti: New Kid in Town) is now in-progress, and in order for me to get it done on time, I'm going to need to do four pages per week (36 pages in 68 days). While this may sound like a lot, the previous book was 30 pages in 38 days, so I'll effectively have 20-25 more days to relax than I did before. There's also some miscellaneous things I won't have to do again.
The downside is that my "usual stuff" will slow down for a couple of months while I'm working on this.
The bright side? I was able to negotiate a 20% higher rate than the first book, I won't have my commission waiting list breathing down my neck as much as before, and I'll be able to post new art regularly! I can fill posting gaps with art I made for the first book.
Finally, before anyone says not to overwork myself - don't worry, I won't. I asked for more time to do the second book for that reason. <3
