Life as guild-sanctioned assassin has been amazing. You're paid an amazing rate to dispose of anyone with a contract on them. Nobels, military officers and merchants have all fallen to your blade. Someone even put out a contract on an old woman running an orphanage. That one didn't pay well, but she definitely had it coming anyway and you were glad to do it.

But your last job did not go to plan. You were hired to take out the leader of an orc tribe and bring back a map that was in his possession. And taking out that old orc was easy enough, a simple dagger in his neck at night was all it took. The map, on the other hand, is no ordinary map and you recognize it instantly. This is the lost map of legend that leads to the golden city.

As soon as you touched it the map disappeared, and a few moments later you found yourself in a courtroom before a judge facing a whole list of made up charges. And without a chance to speak in your defense a judgement is issued: execution, unless the map is surrendered. Confident it was a bluff, you refused to turn over the map. And then a trapdoor opened beneath you and you fell into a large cage.
