With how things are going in the show, I think they're gonna come to realize their feelings for each other while Eddie is away in El Paso. When Eddie comes back (with Christopher ofc) something between them will have shifted and they're both probably gonna be scared of messing things up. It's gonna be so angsty until one day when they're gonna have a very vulnerable conversation in Eddie's kitchen (they might even argue for extra angst yk?) and end up confessing their feelings to each other. There's a beat of silence only filled by their breaths until Buck gets closer to him and well you what I drew ahah
