Hey Casey, Really enjoyed your answer about how you’ve evolved with your vocal health when recording. I thought I’d give you a few more to try if you’d like. (I’m a singer/performer, so I’ve got an alright grasp on vocal health) Steam is a really good way to rehab your voice if it’s feeling tired or scratchy. Drinking water is amazing, however water doesn’t go to the vocal cords. If water does go towards your vocal cords, you are choking and that is NOT ideal. Steam is the besssst thing to do before you do hours of recording and also awesome afterwards. If you can’t be bothered with the old bowl of boiling water and towel over your head, you can get portable steamers. Bosisto has a great steam inhaler that I use a lot. I think you can get them at Priceline. If you’re reeeaaaallly struggling with your voice, humming into a straw is a game changer. It’s a bit sciencey, but basically humming into the straw creates this back pressure which enables the vocal cords to vibrate more easily, efficiently and then the muscles around the larynx (voice box) relax. Really good to warm the voice up and down. I am always doing straw work and have especially found it helps a lot when I’m sick. Sometimes when I’m feeling lazy and I can’t be bothered doing scales, I just hum through the straw to whatever song that I’m singing. Peppermint tea is also the best. Good for the soul. 🥹 Hope this helps! - Georgie ☺️

Writers style is so individual and sometimes I can tell who wrote it!!!

I relistened to Episode 52 recently and it was noticeably different in approach 😊However it does scupper the argument that 'some' people make that your Podcast is AI ! Keep up the great work 😍

Thanks for taking us behind the scenes, so much depth to what the team does behind the curtain that goes into the decision making. Question, maybe for next time...Does everyone in the team use transcription services? Or what type of tech does each team member find super helpful for their process? Whether it's research, recording, notetaking, transcribing or scriptwriting... I guess I'm asking what's the one tech thing you can't do without as part of this gig or is your favourite number one go-to when working.
