For writers/producers/researchers - generally what was your background before you started working for casefile? Was it related (research/journalism/similar) or was this sort of thing just a passion? 3. Are you planning to re-record/take down the Frankston Serial Killer episodes? I know she now identifies as Paula and her dead name is used in the episode - and a recent Behind the Files episode.

Do you know or have any thoughts on if this was true or another lie by her. Just wondering, as at the start of the story I felt sorry for her until more truth became evident.

2022-01-13 03:44:22 +0000 UTCIt seems like I’m the last year especially casefile has had consistent patreon perks on offer between Patreon picks episodes, the Behind the files and the Q&A (in addition to early ad free episodes). When I compare engagement in Patreon with other shows I support I’m often surprised that casefile doesn’t have more patrons by comparison. Is this something the team has talked about at all? Maybe the website could be updated to reflect specifically what bonus content is offered? Also, Alan Alda offers to record a personal voicemail message for his highest tier patrons. It would be wicked funny to have a voicemail message from the anonymous host. I’m mostly joking….

And last year was probably the best year ever of Casefile - better narration, mostly unknown cases (to me anyway) and superb writing. Are you guys gonna do anything different or special this year? I noticed last year the music was (seemingly) different too which was a nice change

The Batavia was one if my favorite episodes but mutiny and mayhem are obviously hard cases to come by. Also, are there any podcasts you listen to in your free time or does it feel like doing research/work when you listen to them?
