This isn’t a case specific question but I am just curious if the case file team members know the identity of the anonymous host, or is it a mystery for them too? 😂 seriously best voice ever - anonymous host I wish you would branch out and do some sleep story podcasts - it’s the most soothing voice ever, never felt more relaxed listening to murder stories 😅

Elle Belle

Lake Bodom. Does the team thinks it’s most likely that the kiosk keeper Gyllstrom committed the murders?

Stefan Bradley

I’d never heard of Truro. Worrell killed the same number of people as Ivan Milat. Why do you think the likes of Belanglo and Snowtown are extensively covered in the media but Truro seems to be overlooked? Same can apply to the Butcher Baker.

Some of the episodes recently have been very heavy, (what do I expect, I know) anything “lighter” in the works? Any tease/hints for episode 200?

Just my opinion, but the spirit behind Patreon is not a transactional one. We are patrons in the sense of sponsorship and support to content creators, artists etc. We receive a lot of ongoing benefits from our patronage, commercial free episodes, Behind the Files, Question and answers and additional episodes. Not to mention all the wonderful content created by Casefile Presents. I hope the Casefile team has some relaxing time off. They deserve it.

Case 195- I was confused as to why Daniel would think he would be able to get a lot of money in framing Sam for the murder. The contents of his savings accounts and combat pay wouldn’t have been accessible to him dead or alive, right? Any ideas as to how we think he was going to get enough money (via Sam) to pay for a wedding and honeymoon? With Daniel’s fiancé, how much do you think she knew before this happened? Do you think she was more involved than she claims?

Case 198- not a question really, I’m just so appalled that Brad (her father) blamed Hallee for the murder. I feel like that takes a special kind of psychopath to do that.

Case 197- what do you think convinced so many people to advocate for Unterweger’s parole? I wondered while listening to this episode, what made this person so charming or convincing that people bought his stories and lies? Any insight?

Case 199- Has the culture around taking missing people reports seriously changed at all since Truro? Also, I had never heard of a case where a government agency overrules a parent on how strict to be with their child. Is that a thing in Australia?

I missed you I think- but I just have a generalized question: Firstly I very much enjoy your narration and the writing teams’ descriptive storytelling of the cases. I was wondering if creative liberties are ever taken to add details to make the case “script” more immersive to the listener? Of course now I am struggling to think of a specific example, but I hope you know what I am referring to. 😌 Either way keep up the great work! You all seem like a very hard working and humble group and your output speaks for itself- well let Casey keep speaking for it too! Love that voice! ☺️ Have a wonderful holiday!

Hey guys - random question but will our subscription be charged for January as there is no new episodes released over the break?

Benjamin Ridley

Hi Saraneth. We will be recording on Thursday Australian time.

Oh wow, that’s a lot of cases. Can you give us the deadline to have our questions in by? 7 cases is a lot to review to generate decent questions. I have to refresh my memory a bit!
