Case 199: Truro

When Valda heard about the bone, she was rattled. The bushland surrounding Truro was dry and brittle and definitely wasn’t suitable for cattle grazing. It was an inhospitable area for anything other than rabbits and native wildlife, and Valda couldn’t recall ever seeing cows during her previous visits out there.

You should have a warning to not be too high and on sleeping pills while watching this. I’ve managed to follow along but it’s be a journey for sure…..😳😳😳

Excellent episode thank you. Really love the Australian cases. Great writing and narration. Going to miss you all over the Christmas break, but hope you have a great one with your families and friends.

Patreon app isn’t great. If you use the RSS feed that casefile commented below, you can use on other podcast apps that don’t glitch!

Olive

I thought the same thing. It definitely saved many lives without a doubt.

Hayden Cooper

Best podcast ever! Greetings from Gothenburg, Sweden.

Zana

"serial" killers

Alexander

I think it’s just getting too old for people like the golden state killer

Stefan Bradley

Really wish Patreon app had a sleep timer tho

La Ura

I'm very surprised at the expert saying that serial killers don't stop murdering unless they are caught, when there are many documented cases of exactly that happening. Golden State Killer is just one example. I wonder when that statement was made? I guess criminology has evolved a lot since then.

Props to those who choose the appropriate music also.

Props to Elsa McGill for perpetual first-rate writing.

Amazing episode as usual. I can’t help but imagine how many innocent women would have lost their lives if it wasn’t for that fatal accident. Also shocked I’ve never heard of the murders before.

Sarah X

Have you tried using the RSS feed to listen through a dedicated podcast app? That's how I do it and I've had no trouble

Cerys Graham

Totally agree!! I wish there was a feed to show “Patreon Only” or “Unlistened Episodes” so then I didn’t spend time scrolling through all the episodes on the normal feed/ones I’ve previously heard

Sasha Heath

Outstanding episode, as usual. This one is so haunting. The writing on Casefile is far and away the best of all of the podcasts I listen to. Paulette, I had some similar issues with another show on Patreon. I was advised to delete the app and reinstall. That solved my issue and it’s been fine ever since. Hope you get it fixed.

Kathy Watson

Is anyone else having a lot of trouble with the Patreon app? I love the show so much, I’ve felt it important to support the creators. But the Patreon app is so bad, I’ve actually started waiting for the episodes with commercials. It’s less frustrating. Are there other ways to support Casefile if I cancel the monthly Patreon subscription?

Paulette

Are you guys doing anything special for episode 200? (200!!! And really more than that considering so many are multi-parters. A tremendous achievement.)

AR

Another amazing episode. thank you as always!

AR

Thank you. Xx

There will be 2 more bonus episodes for Patreon.

Casefile True Crime

Will this be your last episode before your end-of-year break? Will need to put aside almost 2 hours for this, looking forward to it.
