Confusion on Case 156 Shergar
Added 2020-09-12 23:20:31 +0000 UTCHello Patreon,
Thank you very much for your ongoing support. Just a quick note to clear up any confusion on Case 156. Shergar was originally released as Case 153. However that was an error. We removed the episode a few days later, however by that time many of you had already listened. We then released Anni Hindocha in it's place that same week. So if you listened to Shergar before it was removed, you got two new episodes that week. We mentioned at the time that Shergar would be released again, in it's correct spot, and this is the week for that. We understand this is disappointing for people who have already listened to the episode, however we will be back with case 157 next week.
We appreciate each and every one of you. The fact so many people are willing to support us is so amazing. We understand not every episode is for everyone, however we are always striving to make the show as good as it can be. The entire team work incredibly hard and are extremely dedicate to achieving that. And we are always open to feedback. We have received so much incredible constructive feedback on Patreon over the years, including in a recent poll we did regarding older episodes. We might not reply to every comment, but we are always listening and always willing to take things on board. Thank you again!

2020-09-13 22:26:24 +0000 UTCHow about a poll - which episode have you listened to the most? For me it's a toss up between Falconio and Walsh Street, but I've listened to several episodes more than twice (Alcatraz, Hoddle Street, Russell Street, Baden-Clay etc)- it's the only podcast where I revisit favourites

2020-09-13 14:23:32 +0000 UTCI personally loved the Shergar episode and listened to it multiple times the first week it was released. I plan to listen to it again with the new release this week! Has quickly become one of my favourites.

2020-09-13 05:55:06 +0000 UTCI think you were pretty clear the week Shergar was initially released that it was being pulled and we'd effectively get two new episodes that week and no new episodes the week Shergar was re-released. Any confusion is on the listeners....

2020-09-13 03:45:55 +0000 UTCAlways a class act guys. I subscribe to many true crime podcasts, yours is still the podcast I hit refresh on more than any others. Now that i think about it you guys could read me the instruction manual of an ikea cabinet and I’d still enjoy it. Keep on doing what you do 🤘🏼

2020-09-13 03:26:09 +0000 UTCShergar wasn’t one of my favourites but that’s okay. There hasn’t been a bad Casefile episode and if they didn’t try something new we wouldn’t have Silk Road, The Betavia and Mark and John!

2020-09-13 02:12:05 +0000 UTCAs someone who lives in Northern Ireland I thought this episode was incredible! It’s also not often I hear anything from here on a podcast so I was really happy my favourite one has covered this! Thanks for everything you do, amazing work as usual😊

2020-09-13 00:26:58 +0000 UTCCasefile you are doing a wonderful job, pay no attention to the whiners out there. Some people would complain if they hung themselves with a new rope🙄

2020-09-13 00:11:33 +0000 UTCNo problem, this was communicated clearly originally anyways, I don’t even follow Casefiles regularly and I knew they’d be rereleasing it

2020-09-12 23:30:13 +0000 UTCYou clearly explained this a week or so ago, but maybe not everyone understood it. Your content is great, so some people get upset waiting. Worth the wait I say, and keep up the great work!
