Hi Casey and crew! Have either of you ever thought that one day you will say no more true crime. The story of Leigh Leigh was tough to listen to. I couldn’t imagine having to record, or research, that episode.

Beth Fairbanks

Hi Casey, do you ever feel dirty supporting the Sydney (cap)Rooters? :)

Zaved Hanif

Hey Casey! What is your favorite movie regarding True Crime? And what's your favorite movie in general?

David Rogosaroff

Hi Guys...love this podcast - well done to all. I know you have mentioned some cases you don’t want/need to look at as there have been so much info on them. But, are there any case you don’t want to/can’t cover due to the subject matter, people involved or sensitivity?

James Franey

What case took the longest to research but was unexpected to take that long? (I know belangalo was content heavy but I mean more so what case surprised you)

Tayleh

Hi Casey & Erin, will there be more cases with real audio featured like The Lin Family and Jennifer Pan? Love all episodes but those two were great!

Fran L

Nah, Tool Box Killers. Completely different. They would record their depravity on audio tapes. The one they're most know for was the kidnapping of a 16 year old girl. What followed was... no words can really describe what they did to her. The audio tape the feds confiscated is used today to desensitize incoming agents.

Hey Casey and Erin, I hope you’re both well during the craziness that is the world at the mo. I love the podcast and truly appreciate all the hard work that everyone puts into it. I was wondering if you’re both on stay at home orders as well and what you’re doing to keep yourselves occupied. I imagine it’s not really any different that a regular Tuesday for you but maybe it is 🙂

Caryl

Hey Sean. If your talking about the Toy Box Killer? CaseFile did a three part ep on that one (case 96). It’s quite graphic, just a warning.

Amanda Lewis

On another note... Casey this one is directed at you... have you been watching at all the Tiger King on Netflix? 🥰

Amanda Lewis

Hi Casey and case file team. I’ve been a patreon since nearly the beginning and Natalee Holloway espisode... all I can say to you is WOW. Absolutely fantastic episode... seriously guys well done. You keep going from Strength to strength. My number one fave podcast. Fun fact, I was talking to my cousin in Quebec over Easter (who knows I love true crime) and said ‘ I started listening to this one in Oz... um, CaseFile??? I’m assuming you know it! But wow.. I binged like 10 episodes one after the other!!’ I then gave her my top 10 and now she is hooked. You hav come a long way guys, give yourself a big rap because I know I’m not the only one that hangs out of the next new episode every week. 🥰

Amanda Lewis

Tool Box Killers?

Sean Boulden

Hey there Casefile team! How do you guys pick what case(s) that your team is going to take on? How do you find some of the lesser known about cases you guys do?

Sean Boulden

Hi Erin and Casey. Firstly I just wanted to say that I am a massive fan of the podcast. Keep doing what you're doing! Casefile is the podcast I get most excited about when an episode drops, so thank you. Erin, what is your process when putting together an episode after the research has been done? Do you write from the beginning or work on the ending or harder parts first? Casey, how are you coping without the NRL? Do you think this season might recommence anytime soon? As a Broncos supporter, I'm hoping the points will remain as they were 😂.

Rachael Collier

Is the end or the beginning the hardest to write?

Shannon Perez (shaslove1)

How do you see Casefile in the next year or two? Do you see anything changing with podcasts in general?

Beth Fairbanks

Last comment! I’ve been a listener since the beginning. You’re audio has come leaps and bounds since then. Casefile helped make a new job with a long commute bearable if not enjoyable. I work at a much closer job now and miss the “quiet time” and ability to listen to a whole episode without falling asleep. Thought this lockdown has put me on furlough and thanks to Casefile, my kitchen’s cleaner, the baseboards are cleaner, the windows, bathrooms, hall closet... So thank you!!! Awesome work every time and by far my favorite podcast of all time. I can’t wait to clean upstairs while I re-listen to the entire first three seasons. (It’s scary up there!!) 😘💋❤️

Jennifer Guidry

What case is so disturbing, you choose not to cover it?

Jennifer Guidry

Hi guys. I was wondering what case did you find the most interesting to research? Thanks for helping keep us all entertained during this hard and lonely time.

Jenna Cox

When the next episode 😁

Sarah Kickhefer

I notice in Europe, when written, a date is expressed the day first, then the month, followed by the year. In the States, when we say or write a date, we say, “May ninetieth nineteen blah blah blah..”. When you read a date in an episode you say, “June four ...” Is that a routine method in Australia?

Jennifer Guidry

Thank you so much for keeping us entertained during this strange time :) Which case that you’ve covered was the most difficult? My guess might be the Moors murders because that was probably the hardest to listen to, but also one of my favorites.

Lyndsey

Hi guys! Thank you for such fantastic episodes. It’s really appreciated at this time. How is life in your country? Are you on a Stay Home order like The States?

Jennifer Guidry
