The Griffin and the (substitute teacher) - pages 1 to 5

I have been obsessing over this short story for the better part of the month, and even then i dont have much to show.

There is this short story by Frank R. Stockton titled "The Griffin and the Minor Canon" that has a line that i NEED to use in a short story, and i thought it would be fun to start planning a retelling of said tale in a modern setting, with different environments characters while keeping the general theme and making it more... mine for better and for worse.

Hi!! words,, Its nice getting inside with somewhat less grandiose backgrounds, but i do need to commit to sketching the next few pages so i can be excited for em!!

KJOE - (sudden wip, about 3/4ths done) - 12 pages

I was hoping to have it finished by today but i couldnt muster the energy to finish it 100 percent. Even with the lines being done i still felt like the rendering could have been done better, i wanna add another pass of lights and half tones on it to make it deeper, while also adding more half tones and textures to the general pages.
Butt!!! hopefully I'll finish it next week! along with more sleepdrifter than im currently sketching to get the text down in a proper manner-
