Case 119: Abigail Williams and Liberty German

On Sunday, February 12, Abigail Williams and Liberty German spent the afternoon practising their swing in preparation for the upcoming softball season. That night, the pair emptied Abigail's craft box onto Liberty's bedroom floor and stayed up late painting pictures.

It was solved!!!

Parrots Liz

I can't wait for this case to be solved. I'm surprised no one is recognizing the man or his voice

Celine

I really don’t like unsolved cases but this one was excellent and because it’s so recent there is real hope it will be solved. Great job

Jess Elms

Just finished it. Damn. No closure. I look forward to hearing this solved in a case update episode!

Paul T

I’m really glad they’re covering this one. It’s such a sad case that needs to get solved and I’m sure our host will tell it right

Tara

I hate it when you look at the time remaining on a true crime podcast and realise that it’s not going to be solved.

Rhys Halliwell

A couple reasons I love this podcast is the emphasis placed on showing the people as much more than the victims they became. And the beautiful, yet painful, portrayal of the love and loss felt by loved ones.

Juanita

i consider Indiana my home state, and true crime cases from there really just gut me, and this is ne of the most harrowing. This case is so solvable, and I thank you guys for covering it and doing such a great job, as always.

This is quite close to me as I live right on the Indiana Illinois state line. It's definitely changed a lot of our small town living where our kids were allowed a lot more freedoms. Small town communities pulled together in horrific tragedies like this, we all watch the Billboards at gas stations and replace Flyers when needed. We won't rest until this puke is caught!

Thanks for doing this story. Did you have contact with family members and police through your research? I'm just curious because I've been quietly fascinated by this case for a while now and wondered how you could confirm 2 or 3 pieces of info that I haven't heard confirmed before. Like, the suspect wearing a scarf and hat, which I've heard a lot of people go back and forth on before. Or, how you know the new sketch was based on the video taken? I tend to agree with both points either way.. Love your work and great episode!

Nathan Kearney

I feel like this one will be solved soon.

Thanks for continuing to facilitate my unhealthy fascination with low-life scum.
