This wasn’t completely out of the ordinary, as Allison sometimes went for early morning walks around their Brisbane neighbourhood. She was always home in time to get the couple’s three daughters ready for school, but when 7:15 rolled around, there was still no sign of her.
Gerard called the police to report Allison missing, sparking the beginning of one of Queensland’s biggest-ever criminal investigations.
