Hello Utopians,

It's Friday, and time for our weekly round-up of the week's progress!

💠 GRAND UTOPIA OF AMERICA

🔰 Utopia

This week has been marked by great progress in the creation of the Utopia village. The village is gradually taking shape and starting to resemble what I had imagined for this first project on the Grand Utopia of America archipelago. The details are falling into place, and I can't wait to share a first alpha version with you!

🔰 Flag competition results

This week, the Advisory Council voted to choose the Lochburn County Flag. Interestingly, the vote ended in a perfect tie! So I decided to involve all the members of the team, including the associate developers and myself, to decide. In the end, a winning flag was selected, perfectly symbolising the history and landscape of the county of Lochburn. This flag, and the associated licence plates, have already been integrated into the game, and you'll be able to discover them as you explore the region.

🔰 New Advisory Council launched

In line with this participative approach, I have launched a second Advisory Council this week. This time, we have to choose the official flag of Grand Utopia of America! Voting is still under way, and the good news is that it's open to everyone. If you'd like to take part in selecting the flag that will represent the entire archipelago, I invite you to join the vote on the Patreon poll.

💠 MORE AMERICAN CITIES

🔰 Californie

Great news for fans of More American Cities: version 1.2 of the California edition was released this week. This new version adds 19 more cities, bringing the total to 51 cities available in this edition! The edition remains free and can be downloaded via TruckyMods for anyone who wants to try it out.

A final version of this edition is planned to finish activating the remaining cities in Southern California, once SCS has released the final updates for the region. This will bring the California Edition to a close.

🔰 Utah

Over the next few weeks, I'll be starting work on the Utah edition. This will be a new adventure for More American Cities, and I'll be bringing you more information about it in due course.

This week I also recorded a new episode of I answer all your questions (the third in the series), and for the occasion I invited a special member of the community: seb15. I've still got some editing to do, so the video won't be available for another week or two, but I'll let you know when it's released.

Nous sommes vendredi, et il est l'heure de notre rendez-vous hebdomadaire pour faire le point sur les avancées de la semaine !

💠 GRAND UTOPIA OF AMERICA

🔰 Utopia

Cette semaine a été marquée par de belles avancées dans la création du village d'Utopia. Le village prend peu à peu forme et commence à ressembler à ce que j'avais imaginé pour ce premier projet sur l'archipel de Grand Utopia of America. Les détails se mettent en place, et je suis impatient de pouvoir vous partager une première version alpha !

🔰 Résultats du concours du drapeau

Cette semaine, le Conseil Consultatif a voté pour choisir le drapeau du comté de Lochburn. Fait intéressant, le vote s'est terminé sur une égalité parfaite ! Pour départager, j'ai donc décidé de faire participer tous les membres de l'équipe, incluant les développeurs associés et moi-même, afin de trancher. Finalement, un drapeau vainqueur a été sélectionné, symbolisant à merveille l'histoire et le paysage du comté de Lochburn. Ce drapeau, ainsi que les plaques d'immatriculation associées, ont déjà été intégrés en jeu et vous pourrez les découvrir lors de vos prochaines explorations dans cette région.

🔰 Lancement d'un nouveau Conseil Consultatif

Dans la continuité de cette démarche participative, j’ai lancé un second Conseil Consultatif cette semaine. Cette fois-ci, nous devons choisir le drapeau officiel de Grand Utopia of America ! Le vote est toujours en cours, et, bonne nouvelle, il est ouvert à tout le monde. Si vous souhaitez participer à la sélection du drapeau qui représentera l'archipel entier, je vous invite à rejoindre le vote sur la plateforme Patreon.

🔰 Californie

Grande nouvelle pour les fans de More American Cities : la version 1.2 de l'édition Californie a été publiée cette semaine. Cette nouvelle version ajoute 19 villes supplémentaires, portant le total à 51 villes disponibles dans cette édition ! L'édition reste gratuite et est téléchargeable via TruckyMods pour tous ceux qui souhaitent l'essayer.

Une dernière version de cette édition est prévue afin de finir d'activer les villes restantes dans le sud de la Californie, une fois que SCS aura publié les mises à jour finales de la région. Cela viendra clôturer l'édition Californie.

Dans les prochaines semaines, je vais commencer le développement de l'édition Utah. Ce sera une nouvelle aventure pour More American Cities, et je vous apporterai plus d'informations à ce sujet en temps voulu.

🔰 Nouvelle vidéo YouTube en préparation

Cette semaine, j'ai également enregistré un nouvel épisode de Je réponds à toutes vos questions (le troisième de la série), et pour cette occasion, j'ai invité un membre spécial de la communauté : seb15. Nous avons eu une discussion vraiment intéressante.
Il me reste encore à terminer le montage, donc la vidéo ne sera pas disponible avant une ou deux semaines, mais je vous tiendrai informés de sa sortie.
