Fathers wanted them married, fine, they'll be married, but they don't get the privilege of seeing or knowing them after that. The fathers cannot have it both ways. At least, that's just how it would be if I were said bride ... but then again my (non-crime ring) parents know me well enough to NEVER try this with me of all people.
