Weekly progress report #94

Hello! Time for our regular progress report. Things are going okay for the most part. Though, as it often happens with the last demo, I'm having a bit of a trouble selecting stuff that I want to see right now, and stuff that I would prefer leaving for the future. Specifically, various development on love routes that do not include Blake. I bet some of you really wanna know how things will go with Rebecca/Jamal, Liam/Eduardo, Zoey/Tanya… But I always have to select some of those things, not all of them. Cause, you know. Time constraints. But I expect this demo to be somewhat bigger than the previous two.

Anyway. Since I'm only starting, there's basically a skeleton of a new demo, but some scenes are actually finished already. They're sorta suspended right now, because I don't know where exactly I'm going to put them, but it's fine. Remember Taeng's experimental route? There's gonna be a new scene, and it's… well, let's just say it will test Blake's certain limits. Ha-ha. Ambrosia will enjoy it, and I hope you too.

Aside from that, there's gonna be some fun stuff, some less fun stuff at Dominique's party (I did rework some of the locations in her penthouse, so it looks much better now), and also you're gonna see Stewart a bit more, because he lost his beard. I'm not joking, that's the reason I've been hiding him. His old beard had a weird geometry property where it was rigged to… his eyebrows. Seriously. Stewart lowers his eyebrows, his moustache goes down, too. So, let's say Iris forced him to shave. But he'll get a new one once in Deliverance.

Speaking of which, next week we'll get a special story poll about that. You'll be voting for a character you do not want to see there. Because it's fairly clear for me which characters are fan favourites. And just to be clear, Blake, Melinda, Rebecca, Samuel, Liam, Vanessa, Iris, Suya, Stewart, Lucia, and Dominique will get in Deliverance 100%. Tanya, Zoey, Claude, Troy, and Gillian probably won't. As for the rest, it's up to you to decide. Hope you'll make things challenging for me :)

So, that's about it for now. I'll show more sprites tomorrow, and there's gonna be more polls next week. I estimate my current progress to be at around 15–20% of what I'm planning to do (meaning, one day is finished already, but it's the shortest one). Looks good to me, but I'm pretty bad at measuring these things. What's important is that I keep working, and hoping for more feedback about the previous demos from you, guys.
