THE MASSIVE NOVEMBER UPDATE

Hihi and welcome the to "Massive November Update" this update is massive. I should've spread it out in all of November, but I got busy because I was making the content for the massive november update. There's so much shit to cover. Lets get started. (and thanks for sticking around :))

KOISHI PROJECT

S4 (1/4) finished and most of it drafted out. All I need to do now is clean up the whole scene and I'll be done with it. I'm going to have to dedicate a week sitting in a coffee shop to finish and focus on this. I've been putting a lot of shots on hold due to me working on the comic. Hopefully majority of the process for S4 will be done by the next update.

Right now the issues is that the coloring is incredibily tedious and repetitive, my background artist who is a gem asked if he's allowed to volunteer to color some scenes. Which will be a massive help. I'm also going to have another background artist to hop on in a bit for the future more dreamy sequences

I WAS BORN TO WORK RETAIL

's current arc has ended. I'm super super happy with how it went. It's my first time writing something with this much depth to it and I'm glad a lot of people seem to really like how the story as a whole is going so far.

To be honest I had no idea that things would get this intense when I first planned out the story. Jenny and the gang originally were just going to hang out at some rich compound and chill for the entire day playing stupid pranks on each other, then it'll get revealed that Zoey is there with some ulterior motive cause she has the password for a gate. The dog death scene wasn't even a factor in the original script. However, as the days passed by while making this arc, I thought the story was too safe, I thought that I was getting too comfortable in writing "relateable retail drama" where poor helpless Jenny is getting pushed around in life passively just because she's not well off.

Ep 8.6 - I Sink

I sink is the climax for the current arc. Fishdude loses his marbles and tries to murder Jenny and Tommy. I originally thought it was an overreaction, but the more I talked to people on how they would react if they lost their dream job, a lot of people actually took the stance that they'll be willing to kill to keep some meaning in their lives.  This also teaches Jenny a lesson on going too far on her passion for fish, to the extend that you go insane trying to achieve it.

Ep 8.6 - Worse People

Zoey steps in and saves Jenny at what cost? The twist that Zoey already knew what Jenny and the gang were doing was a shot in the dark for me, as her character isn't established enough so far in my opinion, We'll expand more on who she is in the future at a point in time :) Tell me what you guys think of her as a character so far, kinda like a darker Jenny who hates the world.

That's the end of Ep 8 :) this arc has taken 3 months to write and I learned a lot in storytelling through it. Get ready for some chill (I hope) IWBTW retail content because honestly Jenny really needs a break at this point.

Side Project (EST Time 1 week) Not Passionate in Art Anymore

I've been working on a seperate small animation project on the side, something I can post on my youtube for the time being. It'll be nice to do something else for a change and I always really enjoyed this IWBTW side comic. This is also a good time to test out how quickly I'm able to finish animation between the two massive projects. If it works out, I'll start animating the first couple of IWBTW episodes as they're around the same length and workload as this comic.

This week I looked through 139 audition emails and found 2 voice actors. It was a bitch to sort through lol
