Hello! Time for another progress report. Well… we're on the finish line for v0.10, and I can't be happier. It was a difficult month for me, but you helped me tremendously, so I'm in a good mood, and feel inspired to start working again.
In fact, I already started. There's one scene 70% finished (this is going to be a hidden scene again, which will require walkthrough to get. I'm making it so you wouldn't get it by accident, because this scene is very different from all the others, and I need to make sure that you really want to see it. Also, small spoiler: you're gonna need a lot of sub points), and several in early drafts, so there's no need to waste any time. Let me talk briefly about future content, and I'll give you the details tomorrow.
Okay, first of all. We haven't seen Blake in his maid uniform once in v0.10. That's no good. That's bullshit. So, in this last part of the update he'll visit Melinda once again, and get a new uniform. Even cuter than the previous one! And new sets of lingerie, because he was such a good girl. Also, Melinda reworked her dungeon slightly, added a new bedroom, and hired a bodyguard. Someone Blake might know.
And speaking of dudes, I hanged them out dry in this last demo. Blake only had one scene with a man, and since it was a route scene, it doesn't really count. This doesn't mesh well with my promise of 50/50 straight/gay content, and I'll work on that. I'm planning on making another threesome with Claude and Troy, but we'll see. People who prefer looking at girls shouldn't be afraid though, there's gonna be enough events for you as well.
Here's the things that should be in the last part: Iris and her manicure event, Taeng visiting Blake with an offer he probably can't refuse, dr. Lowe's hypno-session, Blake meeting another male character who will later might become a love interest, Zoey organising a photoshoot for Blake and Liam, and many other things, though some of them I might need to delay a little further. For example, I want Kushari to fuck Blake in front of Kira (I'm sure a lot of you will enjoy that as well), but this scene might require a lot of buildup. After all, Blake only now learns about them. Also, since Suya just got her route, she needs some development, too. Overall, I have a ton of ideas, but I might need your help to determine which ones should get in the game first.
Oh, and I also completely re-rendered several scenes from v0.1, and changed all the sprites there. Maybe I'll show you some later on, but as a whole these new pictures will only be included in the final release of v0.10.

You're absolutely correct thinking that Deliverance is going to be much worse than the current city Blake lives in. Poverty, starvation, dirt everywhere. People will be held under the rule by being drugged out of their minds. In fact, you can actually string together this grim future piece by piece by talking to all the characters in the game. I want to make sure that once we're in Deliverance, Blake will become less interested in his toenails colour (though it will remain an important aspect of his life), and more in just global stuff that happens around him. We're all in this together.

2020-10-05 10:38:11 +0000 UTCIn this second demo Blake might encounter Kushari and Kira doing stuff in the alley, and he can later confront Kira about this (both giving away the fact that he saw everything, and concealing it), which should factor into this event. I want to move K/K relationship in two different paths: with Blake shaming Kira and essentially making her break up with Kushari, and him encouraging her, thus turning Kira into a complete slut.

I'd love that, since I love Post-Apocalyptic stories. :) As for current Blake, any development which has Blake surviving until Deliverance becomes a thing that is good - though Deliverance should ultimately be a failure as it's late-stage capitalism - and if late-stage capitalism is a failure, Deliverance should suffer worse problems than what is presumably late-stage capitalistic Manhattan, which seems to be the model for Blake's world. So, you're forcing yourself into two choices: 1) Deliverance is a valid solution, and there is no unrest, or 2) Deliverance is a fantasy and fails totally. I don't know where you want to take Blake's story, but a consistent background will *really* help sell it that much more, so I hope you're thinking a bit about that. Love this story so far, and that's why I'm contributing... it's superbly well written, and you shouldn't take my opinions as nothing but potentially constructive criticism. :)
