[Moans Exclusive] Reading selections from "Dracula" by Bram Stoker!

Hi!
Since I'm usually late here's an early drop! I thought a fun Halloween thing would be to read a few passages from Bram Stoker's Dracula. I've wanted to read from a novel for a while, but since it can only be a few selections, I wasn't sure what would be a good fit. But since Dracula is so famous, I think these excerpts work well on their own, especially with the first person journal style. These are all from the beginning of the novel when Jonathan Harker travels to Count Dracula's castle in Transylvania on business and finds himself stuck there, encountering many strange things...

I had a lot of fun with this, please enjoy my silly voices! I didn't go quite full Bela Lugosi for the Count himself, but I hope you like my interpretation. Also if you want some supplementary watching, I highly recommend Atun-Shei's video essay about the novel, even if you've never read it.

Take care,
august 🦇

CW: Gothic/supernatural horror, some creepy music, descriptions of food, blood, and implied child death/violence

Omg well done!! I'm a huge fan of this book, and you really did it justice! Thanks especially for not going super heavy for the Count's accent—its a part of the story after all, that he speaks really good English without a very strong accent (so he can blend into london better). This is totally going to be a fav of mine <3
