244.The barbarian should roll

2 of  1/8 of April

Sorry for the delay! I was working hard on the game. I hope to have the next page in two days.

For those who don't play D&D or Pathfinder, we roll dices to see how good our characters do a task. The usual difficulty is 15, so with 27 he did really good. But how much good will be our bard singing? We will see in the next page. ;)

Oh I am sure yu will be able to sing beautifully Ari. You have such an artistic bent, and beauty flows from you into everything you touch, including people. You made my Dad (your Grandpa) see himself as she truly was. I believe that for the first time she could see herself as she should have been, and yearned so for. Dad was never satisfied with who he was or how he looked. You and you alone freed him to see herself as she really was and wanted the world to see her. ^_^ Your loving and devoted Mommy Sarah

Oh, I didn't know that song, it's really beautiful! Once I have more time, one of the things I want to do is take singing lessons.

My poor Dad could not carry a tune in a bucket, though he spent his last two years of High School in Chorus. Be he loved to sing, and dreamed of being able to. In that file I found, which I mentioned in another post in I think cats section, he said that version of him was always singing and soothing others even sometimes getting villains to surrender or at least be distracted that hostages could be rescued before they could do harm to them. He loved music even more than I do. Today I am listening to another old favorite of his, Jean by Oliver. It is hauntingly beautiful. One line says, "and the clouds are so low, you can touch them and so, come into my arms Bonny Jean" It just makes my heart melt. No wonder it made Dad feel so good hearing it, he probably imagined himself as Jean from the song, with Oliver singing to him. It's sad that Oliver died so young. Ah well. I love you Ari! M. S.
