I Got a 360 Camera!

This is the first new camera that I've ever bought for myself! I've wanted one of these for years, but have never been able to justify buying one... until now! I learned when making the Fiero update video that it's extremely hard to film cars in motion without a team of people. I was able to get a few shots of the Fiero driving with just a cheap, used GoPro suction cupped to Elyse's car, but the hours of coordination it took to do that resulted in only a few seconds of (what are honestly) mediocre shots. But now that's a problem of the past!
One of the best parts of these cameras is the "film now, re-frame later" mentality you can have which seems very "ehh that's a problem for future me", but actually works out surprisingly well! I am my own camera man who is able to get the best shot as well as my own driver who is trying to be as safe as possible when on the road.
I'm also able to get cool stylized shots like this "Tiny Planet"
As well as this top down GTA style which you might've already seen on Instagram! These are all just little tests I did yesterday. The ones in the final video will hopefully be a lot better :)
But honestly I'm just so excited to be able to get shots that will better convey the emotion that I'm trying to convey in my videos. If I'm overwhelmed with excitement that this thing is back on the road, I want you to be able to feel that without me telling you that. And now thanks to you guys, I can! Without your support here, I wouldn't be able to take make purchases like this and take my production quality to the next level. Thank you all so, so much.

My only concern for this device is that the company reports to the PRC govt, and its app requires so much data to be sent back to china. I could not in good conscious purchase this device, and many should consider alternatives; or at least know that data is mined and sent to china when utilizing this camera. โ- edit: ok itโs worse than I thought. Their privacy agreement is on par for the course akin to other data mining products DJI and TikTok. 1.3 Exceptions to the collection and use of personal information You understand and agree that we have the right to collect and use your personal information without your consent in the following circumstances. (i) Circumstances involving national security, national defense security. (ii) Situations involving public safety, public health, and significant public interest. (vii) Where the personal information involved is disclosed to the public by the subject of the personal information or the guardian himself/herself. (ix) Necessary to enter into and perform a contract at your request. (x) Necessary for maintaining the safe and stable operation of our Platform Services, such as the detection and disposal of product or service failures. (xii) For other circumstances specified by laws and administrative regulations. The PRC regime has their hand all over this product, and in an event of war, will be used against us. Iโll never trust using any chinese product that interfaces with my phone ever again.
