Fiero Shakedown - Small Road Trip
Added 2021-03-10 19:01:45 +0000 UTCIT'S DONE! Well... 99% done... I'm still missing two plastic lug nut caps, a few screws for the fender liners, some rubber pieces for the hood, and the "Fiero 2M4" sticker on the back. But by and large, the Fiero is done.
I still have so much more to film (all of those things I mentioned plus driving footage and finished B-Roll beauty shots), write, narrate, and also edit in order for the video to come out. As a closer episode not just for the project, but also for what is a chapter in my life, most of the time I need will just be for just crafting the story for the video. It won't be as simple as just narrating what I'm currently doing on the car, It's gotta flow and it's gotta have heart. With that said, it'll definitely be a minute before the video will be out.
Right now, I'm just taking a little breather! I took a little birthday/Fiero-completion celebratory road trip to Austin, TX. I'll be hanging out here for a few days before I head back to Houston and get back into the work grind.
As for the actual driving of the car, it's great! I might need to fine tune the alignment just a tad bit, but overall it's wonderful. It drives extremely smooth and I averaged 30 MPG on the way here! Not too shabby. The main odometer unfortunately stopped working as soon as the trip started, but luckily the trip odometer still works! I'll have to take a look into that before I wrap up the series. All other gauges work exactly as the should, and the shift light works too! I'm sure I'll talk a lot more about it in an actual video though.
All in all, I couldn't be happier with the car. It's been a hell of a project.
