Grocery Getter Extraordinaire

Now, the Fiero may look pretty much exactly the same as it did at the end of Part 13, besides the addition of the fender liners, but I assure you that it's quite different!

As you all know, from the the previous update video, there's been a bunch of little tasks that I had to do in order for the car to truly be in tip-top shape and, more importantly, functioning properly and safely. So because of that, I used being out of coffee creamer an excuse to actually drive this car! It's great. Truly. There's honestly some squeaks and rattles still, but it's by no means terrible. Even though the car is not fully put together, there's still all lights present and functioning, so no laws were broken :)

Wow! I just now realized that in terms of drivability, the car is 100% complete and no more work has to be done! That's cool. But! There's still two more things I want to take care of before any future video is released. They are the barely functioning radio and the issue of the "phantom wipe".

Both of those issues are electronic in nature. Despite a lot of my projects having a strong focus on electronics (3D printers, Iron Man helmet, old motorcycles, etc.), I absolutely hate that stuff with a passion. Electrical gremlins are the freaking worst. However... solving them and getting everything working as it should is such a wonderful feeling. For the sake of a working car, as well as for that sweet, sweet serotonin, they're gonna be fixed.

I'm thinking of making the radio its own Saturday Projects video since Part 14 is already jam packed with so many little things. The issue with the windshield wiper motors should be a quick fix so I have no qualms with jamming that in with the rest of the stuff.

Either way, I have to tear out some electronics and diagnose some stuff. It'll take some more time to do that as well as wait for replacement parts (for what I'm assuming are failing capacitors) to come in and then actually install them. In the meantime, I'll be chipping away at the script and the edit for all the footage I have now. I'll keep you guys posted on updates!
