3D Printing A Custom Air Filter Bracket
Added 2020-11-09 21:00:01 +0000 UTCHere's a little project I worked on yesterday! Ever since I originally got the blasting cabinet, there's been a slight issue of not having a quality/functioning filter for it.
It pretty much fell apart and broke off right after getting it set up due to it being damaged in shipping. If I was using the shop vac for dust extraction, too much air was being sucked in from outside the cabinet instead of just removing the dusty air from inside. And if I was too lazy to set up the vacuum, all the dust would just blow right out the hole and make a huge mess. Not great either way.
I decided to fix that finally! With the power of 3D printing, anything is possible. In this video, I give a rundown of what's the issue is, how to fix it, and the workflow of making that solution a reality.
