A while back I attempted to fix the driver side seat reclining mechanism cover, but it didn't last too long. While JB Weld isn't a cure-all, I tried to treat it like one.
I'm currently revisiting interior work for the next episode, so I thought I'd get around to fixing it properly this time! Instead of relying on just epoxy alone, this time it's 3D printing, superglue, adhesion promoter, and a plastic-exclusive epoxy.
I kind of glaze over the CAD modeling in this video, but if you'd like to see more of my workflow, I'd be happy to record myself while I'm doing it next time I have a little project like this!
