Well, more like speedy fast window. I still have to do the driver side. The passenger side door has been completely rebuilt! Very exciting stuff. Fiero windows are known to be slow compared to other cars, especially modern ones, but this is still a million times (yes I did the math) faster than what it used to be. Also, this is with an almost dead battery because I haven't started the car in days and I've been running the window up and down like a mad man, so it'll probably be faster with the car running and the battery charged up.
The mounting brackets. door latch, window tracks, regulator arms, have all been de-rusted and painted, brand new window motors, new rubber seals, new felt guides all installed, and every moving part has been lubricated. This door is practically how it was from factory at this point and I am very happy.
All of these little things are what takes so long for these videos to come out, because I honestly have no idea what I'm doing and I'm just figuring everything out as I go. I appreciate everyone's patience, especially now with so many people at home with nothing to do but wait.
With that being said, would you guys be interested in more frequent updates? I definitely want to be posting on here regularly and way more often, but I also don't want to "spoil the episode". But if you guys are down, I'd love to share way more behind the scenes stuff. Let me know what you want!
Stay safe!
