Dear Insane Children,

Well, that was fast! The Rabbit Makers have turned around a new prototype. This one includes a stitched nose and a black eye. Seriously, you guys, giving little rabbits black eyes?

I did notice a flurry of "moar longer arms!" comments on the previous post and wanted to say...

His arms are fine. I think the fact that they look short in that image has to do with lens distortion and perspective. I've shown him to several "picky people" (designers, artists, Martin) and none of them mentioned anything about the arms. When prompted, they did a proper "arms inspection" and determined there to be no issue. The UN has verified these reports.

That's it! We're pulling the trigger on the manufacture of a bazilliion rabbits!

Goals

Hey, if you want to help us reach the Rabbit Goal sooner, we first need to cross the Goal for the 2nd set of Embroidered Patches. That happens at 2800 Patrons. Everyone at $10 and above gets the Patch Set sent anywhere in the world with free shipping (and a tracking number - which if you request too early we'll send Lulu to bite your face). It's a sweet deal and it gets us closer to Releasing the Rabbits.

I expect the Rabbits will be ready to ship in January 2019... so, let's hit those goals!

PS: Lots of art and fun stuff in the next update. Stay tuned!

Love the rabbit...Which tier is the rabbit associated with? Will we be able to order just the rabbit without being in a tier?

:D

He is fucking gorgeous! QUESTION: Does he have an official name?

grabby hands

Little guy looks fantastic! I actually really like the black eye! Really can't wait to add this one to my collection

AAAHHHHH I'M SO EXCITED I CAN'T BREATHE

This one is definitely the best. I love it. I really hope to receive it

I'm loving the stitched look of the nose. I do agree that it should be a bit wider on the top, but he's looking fantastic! I kinda like the other button eye better, the whole wood button idea that was discussed in an earlier thread, but the black button has a unique look of itself. :)

Leah

Yay! Well done guys he's fantastic and I'm so excited for him to come and live with me soon!

I love him. The bag is way better than a box. I just bin them any way. Some people are so picky.

Just the Bag? no box? i'll take one flat or anyway it can get here ………. pwease

Love love love! I love it with the black eye. It's amazing, by far the best version. Can't wait for when they're ready.

Erin Flower

Love it!

We'll ask the factory to include the brown button in his bag. That way you have it in case you want to change it ;)

American McGee

As I said above... I think there's an "everyone wins" solution here... I'll just ask the factory to include the brown button and sew on the black button. If you want to change it - easy!

American McGee

Holding on to them. Definitely not throwing them away. We actually have a little museum of all the prototype stuff we've created for various projects. It is getting a bit out of hand though in terms of storage space!

American McGee

Amazing! So much personality and storytelling in one simple stuffed animal. :)

I like Lucas' thoughts regarding the button eye. And as Priscila said it is an easy DIY to change once you get it. Not to worried about it, although I do agree I would like the top of the nose to be a little wider, but it's not a deal breaker either to me. He looks super squishy! P.S. Lulu is far too sweet to bite anyone's face!

I agree with what others have said about the button eye, the brown one looks better. Maybe it’s the picture angle, but the brown looked better.

Nicole E.

I like they eye stitching.

I love it! Can’t wait to get my hands on it. I also know for a fact that Lulu is a good dog and wouldn’t bite but she’s welcome to get lots of pets 🤣

This one feels right for Alice's rabbit, but I do want to know... What happens to the prototypes? Do you keep them? Do you throw them away(oh please no!)? Will/would you put them up for sale? Do you give them to Lulu(Again, please no!!!)?

So cute, bunny looks ready for mass production and world domination!

We can adjust the nose shape. Do we really want to start a back and forth over the eye color? I feel like that's a ... rabbit hole ... from which we'll never emerge. It was black in the concept image. We got lots of requests to make it black on the actual plush... At some point a decision has to be made one way or another.

American McGee

I do not have both physical models in my hands. Best bet is to just compare the image in this post to the image in the previous post?

American McGee

NOOOOO. PLEASE READ: https://www.patreon.com/posts/21365371 Rabbits are not yet on the menu! Right now we're trying to hit the Patch Goal. That's $10. The rabbits, when they are unlocked, will be at $45 (which includes free shipping).

American McGee

So if we are at the $10 teir are we eligible for a rabbit or just patches? I've been off for a while due to college. If this is true I'm totally switching teirs for a bit

Kristina Shelton

Now seeing with the black eye, i think the brown one looked waaay better. And the nose shape looks odd, the top part should the wider. The same format as the plastic nose, or maybe a wooden nose.

Priscila Nosoma

can we see a pic of both faces together??

Excited!!! 🖤

Is Martin picky? Anyway, I didn't have time to comment on the other posts but I love how the rabbit plushie is coming along, I think it's pretty accurate now. Can't wait to hold it in my hands! Let's reach them goals!

Chaussette

XD to excite!!!! Can't wait to get one home for my self I love it love it love :3

Looks great! Can’t wait.😬😬

I think he’s adorable! I can’t wait to get my hands on a sweet little guy. Perfect creepy/cute combo 🖤

Legion Ratfell

Not a fan of the black eye, it clashes against the other colors. The brown button looked so much better. Shockingly, seeing the stitched nose I think the plastic one looked better. I know the plastic nose doesn't go with the period of time but go back to the brown button eye at least.
