After several weeks of life off the grid, out on the water aboard Chaos, I'm finally back to land and slowly returning to reality. My apologies for not uploading content of any sort while I was out there... Internet access was non-existent or incredibly slow. Now that I'm back I'm chipping away at a mountain of updates, emails, and planning... Tonight I fly back to Shanghai and tomorrow will resume business as usual.
I hope you all had a wonderful Chinese New Year - and am happy to welcome you to The Year of the Dog. Woof!
While I was away Joey finished a cover image for the Alice PPT. I think it's turned out fantastic. What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
There's been a ton of progress on OOTW, Pirate Jam, and on other fronts... but I'll save that news for later this week.

2018-03-04 13:15:58 +0000 UTCThe rabbit doll is there actually, at the very right, or it might be another doll, but if that is the right one, then I guess they should make it bigger. A cool pose could be Alice holding the rabbit and the vorpal blade.
2018-03-04 12:01:06 +0000 UTCA lot of stuff going on in that image. It looks great. There is a couple of things that the image needs or should be fixed. First, the Vorpal Blade is missing its intricate design, it shouldn't be a normal kitchen knife. Second, Alice needs her stuffed Rabbit Doll, it is one of the most important item to Alice that survive the fire. This CANNOT be left out at all cost. Third, the syringe needs to have the little wing thingy sticking out where you put your index and middle finger on. Fourth, as other have said, Alice looks kind of thin, should fatten her a tiny bit.

Maybe her hair could be a bit darker and Alice's torso is looking pretty skinny. Perhaps adjust her proportions to be more closer to her model. Though if it's just the art style, I still dig it. :) Can't wait for the live streams to be back. Miss you guys. Glad you didn't go overboard at sea. Hope you had fun!

The design of the title looks much sharper now, and the image definitely fits the mood and aesthetic of the series. I agree with Fabs that the Vorpal Blade could use a little more detail and maybe Alice's hair could be a shade darker, but those are tiny adjustments to consider. I also wonder if it would look cool (or maybe it might just be garish) if on a physical release there was a sort of lenticular effect, so that from certain angles it would look like there were butterflies around Alice like when she dashes in A:MR? Could be worth trying out, as it might bring a dash of Wonderland to the cover. And that teddy bear in a straight jacket is just the best!

And a more detailed Vorpal blade to match the Madness Returns model would be cool, but the idea comes across well in the drawing nevertheless. The silhouette of Alice and the overall composition rocks!
