I know your thoughts on Robert Zemeckis (haha) and maybe I'm in the minority, but I do wanna see 'Here.' Mostly because I love both actors and I want to see their reunion and how this movie turns out. So far, it has its heart in the right place, but I am skeptical, but I'm also intrigued. Ahhh. Lol. Additionally: I'm excited for Steve McQueen's 'Blitz' on AppleTV, Jesse Eisenberg's sophomore directorial effort 'A Real Pain,' 'Heretic,' 'Wicked,' 'Moana 2,' and whenever it releases in my city: Sean Baker's 'ANORA.' Cannot wait for that one!!

Basic Penguin

The Room Next Door, Emilia Perez, Woman of the Hour, Heretic

Drew Perkins

Emilia Pérez is one that has definitely been on my radar. The premise alone is just so wild that it instantly had me interested. And apparently it’s a musical which should be interesting. Although studios have GOT to stop advertising their musicals as if they weren’t musicals. I still have no idea what kind of songs they’re doing. Anora is a big one because….Sean Baker. Duh. And Juror #2. Big Nicholas Hoult fan. I personally really appreciate Eastwood’s very straightforward, no-frills style of directing. And this just feels like one of those “they don’t make them like this anymore” kind of films.

Donoharm

Juror No. 2. It has so much going for it simply because it doesn’t feature a lot of Eastwood’s usual setbacks: Not written by Nick Schenk, not based on a true story or book, not starring Eastwood, no overly distracting actors like Paul Walter Hauser, Tom hanks, Bradley Cooper or Leonardo DiCaprio.

Henri J. Mertens

Most Anticipated Juror No. 2 (Nov 1) - Eastwood’s latest Bird (Nov 8) - Always been interested in the director Andrea Arnold. Stars Barry Keoghan and Franz Rogowski The Seed of the Sacred Fig (Nov 27) - Getting a lot of good buzz. Out There/ Slightly Curious A Real Pain (Nov 1) Small Things Like These (Nov 8) Conclave (Nov 8) Gladiator II (Nov 22) - looks like its going to be bad but nonetheless I’m kinda interested lol Blitz (Nov 22) - Steve McQueen’s latest Queer (Nov 27) - Luca Guadagnino’s latest starring Daniel Craig Maria (Nov 27) - Pablo Larrain’s latest starring Angelina Jolie. Jolie’s getting buzz for her performance This link outlines all the movies coming out in November. Big month given it's Oscar season: https://www.movieinsider.com/movies/november/2024#Tuesday-November-5

I’ve been excited to see Anora for a while now. Hopefully it plays near me when it wide releases in November. I never would’ve thought a Sean Baker movie would be frontrunner for best picture and actress Oscars.

Shane Palamara

The only movies I'd say I'm curious about is Robert Zemeckis's "Here" & Heretic. I'll probably also watch Red One, Gladiator II & Wicked but I can't say I'm excited for any of those three but I figured they'd be an okay time with a crowd.
