All the big media stories throughout the years exposing people like OJ, Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein, Epstein...do not hold a candle to the seriousness of this one (with exception of maaaybe Epstein). This is massive, and I am truly trying to soak this all in as a moment. hopefully good will come of it, and more will be rightfully exposed. If people think Harvey Weinstein was the definition of "hiding in plain sight" for all those years....all Diddy can say in response is, "hold my beer." The man has been the most powerful mogul/fixture in entertainment since the year I was born. And has gotten away with bloody murder (literally)...for decades, due to his power.
Diddy's 50th birthday bash alone on youtube, had more recognizable celebrities than almost any event I've seen. They ALL know who they serve, and there are plenty of creeeepy IG lives with diddy hosting, talk show interviews, podcasts...where these stars boast about Diddy's parties without divulging "specifics". It's disgusting. But the question is....which famous people will be key in this case? Who will be exposed in exchange for a better prison sentence? Jay-Z? Jennifer Lopez? Jamie Foxx? MGK? the Kardashians? Ashton Kutcher? And who, if anyone, will be brave enough to come forward of their own accord? Bieber? Usher? And of course....will Diddy be Epsteined? That's the real question. So many questions, mysterious deaths/disappearances, etc..
Based on the things Diddy has done to people who refuse to "stay quiet"....I'd be scared shitless. It clearly worked for many years. This is truly...third-act-of-Scarface levels of megalomania and power tumbling down. You ever want an example of true evil and true monsters? Ladies and gentlemen...I give you mother fucking Hollywood. What are your thoughts?

yeah exactly. It's a universal thing. We don't have dictators...but we have people like Diddy...who, definitely lives as if he has the power/prestige of a dictator in a foreign country. Same excessive lifestyle, same obsession with extreme control/power over others. But America is the cesspool that enables people, and continues to draw attention to its glorification

2024-09-25 22:00:07 +0000 UTCI haven't done much of a deep dive on this, I'm only aware of some of the basics, but from an international perspective this doesn't just seem to be a Hollywood thing, this seems like a more fundamental problem with America (which is not to say these kind of things don't happen elsewhere - although rarely to such extents) and its obsession with celebrity and the excessive power of wealth and what people will do for it and tolerate in relation to it when there is no significant economic safety net.

This means that most powerful people are only prosecuted if there is a negative spotlight (media attention) on them. That's not good...on a side note I think a lot of men moving forward will be dissuaded from becoming famous in fear of being thrown in prison for past transgressions.

As those two could've very likely been groomed/ sexually abused based on what we have seen and has been insinuated. People like 50 Cent and Katt Williams are the only ones sitting pretty thinking "I been trying to tell ya'll this whole time!" But...it's pretty amazing seeing so many famous powerful people all at once...bolt for the hills like this. Like I said...truly unprecedented.

He's gotten away with a ridiculous amount...while other people's career's and lives were destroyed just so he could continue living his lavish lifestyle. I remember thinking how jarring it would be for someone like HArvey Weinstein to go from his riches...to Rikers island. But....wow....with Diddy it's far of a culture shock. In the case of people like Epstein and Weinstein....they did not have the celebrity status/appeal of this man where they were boasting about their dark behavior as a part of their celebrity persona on camera constantly. Quite the contrary. Diddy bridged all kinds of worlds from politics to music to entertainment, business, and beyond, with flair. With fireworks, bedazzled with diamonds lol. We always speculated about the Epstein and Weinstein stuff for years...but not to such a shameless degree as this. Diddy has absolutely no anonymity anywhere, as he likes it. And he's an entertainer first and foremost, even if he's a much better entreprenuer. He's been practically parading this behavior in front of us all in the spotlight for so many years...and we all just nod along, knowing it's probably shady as fuck. But Christ almighty....even I was surprised at this extent of this one.

Breaks my heart that certain people walk the Earth knowing damn well that what they're doing is completely wrong and inappropriate, but because of fame, money and power - they simply don't care. And as you put it - who would turn down such an offer if this was the "dream" you're being presented? No one. Or at least not back then. Of course now things have changed, attitudes are slowly changing and people are being exposed left and right (rightfully so) and I think we can all be happy knowing there is progress and that there is hope. But man, the idea that he has been able to walk the grounds (with children of his own) and do this type of thing to other boys and girls - is not just disgusting, but heartbreaking. While I do believe in redemption, I also believe in consequence. And before there is any redemption ever given here, this man must pay the ultimate price. I should hope he lives the remainder of his days, forever with his guilt - while being incarcerated without parole.

I’ve heard so many news reports and victim stories about celebs over the years to support my argument. Ironically, it’s even seeped into the art that they make. And I get it’s a bold claim but I stand behind it. We can argue about it all night, but there’s really no way to concretely say yes or no to the idea. But I must also stress what I said, that I don’t think all of them are bad. Just many.

I did see something on Twitter saying a lot of the allegations stem from parties he threw that had a variety of illegal behavior/conduct. I find it hard to believe the extent of his criminality rivals Epstein's international network of pedophilia that implicated multiple royal families, several billionaire tech executives, and bipartisan high-ranking American politicians. Just gonna guess that's not the case here. I'm not saying this to "defend" Diddy, but to give you a litmus of what the average person knows about this case. I want to say I am slightly above average when it comes to news literacy and it's nowhere on my radar.

You have to either give them cause to put you there...or it is due to him being so high profile. As a form of protection. He could be suicidal certainly. I know I would be. I notice people throw around accusations of pedophilia constantly these days. And that is not the type of serious thing you should be wrongfully accusing someone of. But...yes tons of it is unexposed, and stuff like this makes me hopeful that more justice can be served. Pedophilia on a basic level represents a sort of "ultimate" power for those who do it. If you had a talent for singing as a kid, and Diddy came to you, offering you a weekend with him...which includes a record deal, public prestige/adoration, a fancy sports car, and a mansion...if you sign with him...that's hard to turn down for most in such a cutthroat industry. So when it's offered, few have the maturity to think it through. Overtime these people just get desensitized until it's all normal. People like LeBron James came from nothing...and now they sound like literal corporate robots. I think some artists are good people, and remain so even in this gross industry. But...it's very hard to maintain who you are. Nearly impossible with this kind of shit. Especially when a man could scare you into doing whatever he wanted...once he has you.

If that’s true, I expect him to be dead in the next few weeks or maybe even days. But yeah, we all know everyone in Hollywood is evil. I personally think they are all pedophiles. There’s just something that happens to a person when they are absorbed over many years by the over-indulgence of ‘yes’ men, money and a worry-free life. Now, I’m sure there are A FEW who are genuinely good people. But yeah, most are evil and I just hope this whole situation can expose more of them. Hollywood needs a major detox.
