Today...I am reminded of the moment when Quentin Tarantino won his second Oscar in 2013 for Best Screenplay, and rather than thanking other people, he congratulated himself for being such a legendary writer who creates such memorable characters. Oh Quentin....never change. XD

Makes me think back to Dustin Hoffman's speech when he won for Kramer vs. Kramer where he considered everyone in the industry his family and that they were all winners artistically. Tragic how entitled people in the industry have become today. Also, crazy that Piper Laurie has passed away right before the upcoming watch party. She was a fine actress.

2023-10-20 15:51:20 +0000 UTCHe's one of those directors where I love his work unequivocally but I think he'd be insufferable to talk to. I enjoy watching his antics from afar but would never want to be up close and personal. Definitely an art from the artist guy.
