Are there any fans of the show in the house? If so, what did you think of the season 3 opener? Personally, I thought it was a knockout. If you haven't seen the show...I highly recommend it. It's truly one of the most unique and refreshing shows I've ever seen.

I think it was the perfect demonstration of the strengths of the show which is how genre and emotionally fluid it is. I think I probably hit just about every broad emotion for me during just those two episodes. I think what I love about it most is how I have literally no clue what is going to happen episode to episode. The fact it's able to make an episode like that first one at any time in the show is so exciting to me. And then I was busting our laughing nearly the whole way through episode 2. Very excited to see what that team cooked up over 4 years.

I'm not ready to use that criticism quite yet, because I feel like it's wide open currently in terms of where it's going to go. Initially I was feeling that way. But the more I settle into the tone, I find myself deeply intrigued by it. I'm just really into the vibe. I don't even like using that word. But vibe feels right here.

Totally. I can't wait to rewatch them too. :)

I'm going to have to check out this show. "Euphoria" has a very cinematic feel to it too.

Still hasn’t reached the UK! Hopefully very soon.

If you have the time, would love to see a video on your thoughts about Season 1 and Robbin’ Season

Cinematically, it’s the best ongoing live action show on TV right now, and these two episodes are a knockout. I’ve seen em twice now, and I love that they show how the surreal existence of a black celebrity is just as bizarre and scary in European areas that are normally perceived as “more progressive”. And I love how the dreams and themes in Ep. 1 tee up that theme in Ep. 2. Also, the sequence with the death doula had me laughing, then crying, then saying WHOA in shock, then laughing as a reflex for the shock. God bless this show.

I’m a fan of the show overall but so far the episodes this season feel kind of broad and didactic with the commentary
