Just when the tribe members were about to lose faith and reluctantly adopt a morose optimistic form of hope, Ekay speaks out against their mindset, urging them to remember Little Chatter's words.
The tribe members seem to be emboldened and rallied by Ekay's words, if only slightly. Little Black-Ears was on the verge of chiming in with something of their own on the matter, but their words were swiftly interrupted.
The monster has caught up to them.
