2024-11-05 06:40:46 +0000 UTCjust a response to the beginning of your comment, the letter V is sometimes chosen when romanizing chinese in place of the letter U with an umlaut accent mark (Chenyü) or "yu" (Chenyyu) (can be for various reasons such as ease of output, readability, lack of display support, etc). there is no "V" sound natively in chinese, so it allows for giving it a different meaning in this context. viki translations are not above mistakes but in this instance it's just a real thing you might not have encountered :) i do not competently understand, speak or read chinese in any capacity so i am not an authority that this transliteration is 1000 percent correct, but it absolutely is a thing, and i trust them enough to get that right

2024-11-04 01:47:19 +0000 UTCI don’t know why Viki keeps butchering people’s names😭 but the guy’s name in Love Wins All is Wu Chenyu, not Chenyv, like why are they adding a V ??💀 Also I feel like the on site voting is so obviously a popularity contest, all of the Bae173 members got mvp in the individual ranking (not saying they weren’t good, I just think there was better people especially in the rap and dance category, but I think youngseo deserved the vocal win), And I honestly think Kiwi came last because there wasn’t any super popular trainees on that team Im so scared for eliminations next week, I didn’t realise Joonwoo was in the danger zone in rankings so I haven’t been voting for him, he really should’ve gotten mvp in individual ranks, those points would’ve made him safer for eliminations aswell, he’s too good to get eliminated this early on, genuinely how is he rank 85😭😭
