I am sad that the voting before eliminations will end before two thirds of the position performances are aired. They did post them all on you tube already, which is nice, but not everyone watches those ahead of the episode. So the only chance for trainees to stand out and receive the bonus will be with the live audience.

Only partially through watching (these episodes are long wowzers), but taking a quick pause to answer one of your questions. Heedo is in fact older than all of the Ateez members, he's a 1996 liner whereas Ateez' oldest are 98 liners.
That being said, I'm about 70% positive that the reason they dropped him was not because he's 'too old for the song' but rather because he has a very intense personality and they might have been concerned about team dynamics, especially given that Work's team members seem to be both younger and more soft-spoken. And as seen in previous episodes, Heedo's been shown to steamroll over people and is particular about he wants things done. Still, regardless, calling him "too old" for an ATEEZ song is a bit wild.
Will continue the episode now, I've been greatly enjoying your reactions so far!

Nina, I always welcome your opinions and honest thoughts!! I think you’re absolutely right about Yichen and Heedo. Both have been leaders of their groups twice now and it's been a struggle lol. I do think they both pulled off great performances though; as I said they had the two best performances of this episode (in my opinion)....But. I do also think the next assignment that comes around should have different leaders chosen.
Yichen and Zhang Hao, yes! I think that’s it! Good eye haha. Crazy they know each other from before!
Yura and Junseo are excellent and I've started voting for them as well 🤗

Lemme be brutally honest. I feel very conflicted about Yichen because why would he take the leadership position multiple times but still makes the same mistake of being overwhelmed or being harsh? Plus his comments were a little too much - such as yelling "Go Home!" to them. I feel the same way about Heedo too, which sucks because I was a fan of him and his original group back since like 2016. I think he's a little too focused on the fact he has experience that it's limiting his openness to other's opinions. He did the same thing during Peak Time. I think it might be his ego working against him. I don't hate them but I will not be voting for them unless they redeem themselves. Good performers though. Side note - Yichen looks a lot like Zhang Hao - mostly the diamond sharp face shape and nose bridge. Turns out him and Zhang Hao were friends predebut and there's a few photos of them together too. I also feel super conflicted about Sviat. I think if he was a korean trainee (without the benefits of being a foreigner with pale skin and blue eyes) he would not be getting such high praises. I do think pushing for him to be in the group would be interesting marketing because a white 13 year old making it into a survival kpop group would gain a LOT of attention (plus, if he's trained well he could be like the first successful non-biracial white 'kpop idol' in korea which brings a lot of attention in and of itself) but, like, it's unfair to the other trainees who are better than him but are being disregarded or graded harsher because they are asian. But then again, you could argue the potential for extra attention and lookism is the most important thing because that's what makes people know about your group. Still working out my current thoughts about Sviat because l understand why a company would rather invest in a long-term investment with someone that has very unique attributes that'd garner immediate attention, but it still feels icky. No solid definitive opinion yet. Anyways, Abe Yura better make it. He's too good not to. And Junseo too.

I didn't finish watching yet but wanted to get to a couple questions you had. 4 judges ranking each contestant 1 to 5 for the individual performance to total 20 points. So for example, Jeon Minwook received 4 points so each judge gave him only 1 point each. Curious about who received what points? As for being the first group to line up outside the concert hall.... the WHOLE group had to be present. That first group was missing Bing Hua.
